Vermont Municipal Climate Planning Framework and Guide

Siler Climate Consulting is leading a two year project with the State of Vermont’s Climate Action Office to design and pilot a framework and accompanying guide to support municipal government climate action in line with state requirements and opportunities.

This project defines “climate action” in the broadest sense and encompasses work that intersects with making Vermont communities more resilient, greener, healthier, and more livable. The Framework and Guide will include many pathways for local climate action including a standalone climate plan and also ways to integrate climate solutions into existing Vermont municipal plans and programs. This project will be governed by an Advisory Group and a Working Group of State Agencies. Information about both groups, their purpose and commitment requirements, are listed below.
